# 1 Place to live in California

Money Magazine did a poll/study recently and named Folsom the number 1 place to live in California and the number 34 place to live in the whole U.S. I thought that was so cool. And we have to agree. The schools are great, the people are great, good shopping, clean, low crime, good weather, close to Tahoe, a lake, the list could go on. The only thing missing to me is the beach! :) We could totally see ourselves living here for a long long time. We were so lucky to find a home here when we did, because we go in at a decent time. We love it on a church standpoint as well. There are 5 wards in this town and it is not that big. But there is not a church building yet. Soon enough I hear. We feel very lucky to live in such a great place!

It sounds like a great place to live. Lucky that you got in before the housing market took off. You forgot to mention that you are close to a temple. I will let you know if we decide to come, I would love to see you guys and meet little Hailee.

When i was young i lived for 2 years in a village in England called Byfield ,at 15 i left to join the RAF& never went back, although my brother still lived there until this year,I have always dreamt of living again in an Engish Village.I'm 66 & happily living in Surrey but still have that little niggle about that place in my brain.I think the moral is if you love a place stay there & visit the rest of the world.GUS
