Temple Celebration!!

This weekend the Sacramento Temple was finally dedicated! Saturday night was the cultural celebration at the Arco Arena. Tickets were hard to come by in our ward even with Tyler being one of the leaders, but my mom was able to get us tickets from her stake. I found a sitter for Hailee and we went. It was the coolest thing. There were 5000 youth that participated in this and they were so excited. I actually learned so much about the history of the church in California. The best part was when President Hinckley came to sit on the stand before it started ( he spoke to everyone a couple hours before the event) and the kids just started screaming and clapping. You would have thought he was a rock star. It was really neat to be there and witness this event. I found myself wishing that Hailee was 10 years older so she could have been involved. It was definitly a once in a lifetime event for these kids! But I am sure she will have many opportunities in her time as well.
