Every month at the gym playcenter where I work 2 mornings a week they offer a Parents Night Out on a Saturday for kids 2-6 years old. It is from 4:30-8:30 and they always have some sort of fun activity (a magican, water slides, Santa, ect) They also do crafts, face painting, and other games, and dinner. I have to work 2 a year, but Hailee has never gone because I was worried how she would do for that long and if she would be good. Well last night I signed her up for the first time so we could get some stuff done. It was animal night and so the Folsom Zoo brought a bunch of animals and did a show type thing, they made a craft, did playdough, had pizza, an obstacle course and played outside (it was 77 here yesterday). I was worried about her the whole evening even though she has lots of babysitters. But I am happy to report when we picked her up at 8:00 that she did great. She loved the whole thing and everyone said she was perfect. She even touched a snake and a farrett. As an added bonus she kept her underwear dry the whole time. She is good about the potty thing, she was just being stubborn earlier in the day and holding it. I was so relieved. So I will for sure sign her up again. You can't beat 8 bucks for all that. It is usually more than that, but I get a nice discount because I work there.
So I started this post on Saturday, and my blog got locked because of some spam thing so I couldn't send it. So it a little bit dated. Things are going well this week. It has been in the 80s so we went swimming at the club because the pool is heated and Hailee also loves the hot tub. Too bad I just have to watch. She is such a water girl. She is already jumping off the side and going underwater. It should be a crazy summer. But I am loving the weather and hope it keeps. Tomorrow we are going to storytime at our new library and then to the animal park. ( There are chickens and peacocks everywhere)

Folsom sounds like they best place to live. I hope Windsor/Santa Rosa has lots of things to do with the kids.
That must have been a nice break for you and I am sure Hailee loved it.
