We had such a great Thanksgiving! It was so nice to have Tyler around for 5 days straight and be around our family. Here is a recap of what our long weekend was like.
Wednesday we drove to Redding and had Thanksgiving with my family because my mom worked all weekend long. The food was great! Especially my dad's Apple Pie. Tyler and Drew spent most the time playing ping pong and finding things on You-Tube. We then went to the Berry's and visited with them and saw Sophi who is getting soooo big! We stayed with them the whole weekend. I love staying at their house. It is so cozy and I love the surroundings. It is always very relaxing to stay there and Hailee loves being there.
Thursday was Thanksgiving. Tyler went golfing with his dad and my brother and dad. I tried to help Toni as much as I could but with 2 kids that is hard sometimes. Tyler's family came over as well as my dad and brothers and sister-in-law. The food was great!! It was nice of Toni to invite my family since they had nowhere to go. Later that night Toni watch my kids and we went and saw Fred Claus. It was just okay. But it was clean and had a good message!
Friday I was crazy and went shopping with Drew's wife Kathryn and spent 6 hours fighting the crowds. But I got some good deals and we did have fun! We ran into Whitney who walked to Wal-Mart at 5am with Sophia (Aaron was working) She is nuts!! Toni and Howard left that morning to go to LA for the weekend to see Wicked! They loved it. We stayed at their house and it was quiet and relaxing. That night we went to Tyler's great-grandma's bday party. It turned out to be a lot of fun.
Saturday was fun. We played games with Drew, Kathryn, Aaron and Whitney. Hailee had a sleepover at Grandma Wilsons and had a blast. I also went to lunch with my friend Megan from high school who it doing her residency in Wisconsin so I never see her!
Sunday Sophi was blessed and it was such a nice day. They had a great tri-tip lunch afterwards. And then we headed home. It was such a nice weekend. We did a lot but it was really laid back and relaxing. The kids had fun and Cohen slept well which was a plus. It was hard to get going again today and get back to going to the gym, seminary, and work. But I love the Christmas season and so it should be a fun month!
I will post more pictures when I get them. Here is a cute one of Cohen that Toni sent over.

I'm so glad you had a good Thanksgiving! It's so nice that your families get along so well and you get to spend time with both of them together!
OOOoo...I love the new portraits! Your family portrait turned out so great. We're headed up to C-wood for X-Mas so maybe we will get to see you guys then. Good to read you and fam are doing so well. -Amber
