Busy Busy with a Sick Baby

I started my new job at Sudwerk Riverside last Monday. Since they just re-opened (they changed owners) I only had one day of training on the computer and such and then was thrown into the wolves. Luckily for me it all came back really fast and has been a smooth transition. But not for my feet. I had to work M-F last week and so I was so tired and my feet were on fire. I went and bought new shoes and last night was much much better. Luckily from now on I will not be working 5 nights a week and so it will not be so busy. But the money has been great and have been able to put to good use. I don't think it would be an easy transition if Tyler wasn't able to work from home for an hour or two the nights I work. I also come home to dishes done, leftovers in the fridge, and clean sleeping children. Very nice. I think Tyler does better than me!!
The week was made even crazier when Cohen got the stomach flu on Thursday night. We had plans to go do something fun with the kids and for us to go on a date on Saturday because I wasn't working the whole weekend, but he was sick all weekend long and is still not himself. So it ended up being a very quiet weekend which was nice too.
Tyler had Seminary Graduation on Sunday and so he is very happy not to be getting up before 5am and spending 2-3 hours a night on lessons. We will see what is in store for him now that this chapter is over.
This week consists of more work and then on Thursday I am heading to Southern Ca for the weekend and I can't wait!

I'm glad you are enjoying your new job and that it has been a smooth transition. Poor Cohen. Our family suffered from that same bug a few weeks ago. No fun!

Enjoy your trip. Relax. I'm so impressed that you worked five nights in a row, waitressing! You must have been exhausted.

Your sister's blog won't let me on. Like I'm some stalker or something...humph!!

Tyler's blog has too many big words and things I know nothing of.

I HATE when kids have the flu!! I ALWAYS throw up when I see it or smell it or think about it... I am so sorry. Hopefully it was short lived.

A working girl- a real professional. It sounds so glamorous! Lucky you.

Have a great trip!!
