Life seems to be settling down this week. Tyler got back from his cross-country drive last night.(he flew home) I can't believe he drove from Omaha without stopping and then to Baltimore. Crazy if you as me. But he is back and said if he never goes to the midwest again it will be too soon. The story on that for those who asked was that he had a huge order for NASA and the order was delayed coming into them and in order to overnight it was going to be $15,000 and them being a small business where every penny counts, they decided to drive it there. They paid my brother to come along as well. It was quite the journey and I don't think he ever wants to do it again.
I was left to my own devices for a few days which I am getting used to since he has been traveling more and more. The only problem this time is that I had to work. Since his trip was last minute I couldn't work it out to be off those days. Luckily my good friend Mattie took my kids Saturday night and kept them and put them to bed for me. It was such a great help and appreciated. Hopefully she will let me repay the favor! I got called in on Sunday a day I don't usually work because 2 people quit last week so my mom came down to help me. I am not sure what else I would have done. Luckily I have great family and friends.
I kept busy while Tyler was gone by organizing the kid's rooms better, spending till 12:30 am one night going through the toy room and getting it cleaned and organized. I took the kids swimming, shopping, out to eat, played in our backyard water toys, church, painted nails with Hailee, and to my fave Costco. We all seemed to have a good weekend and the kids were very well-behaved. Maybe Tyler should leave every weekend! ;)
Tyler is off now till Thursday. His boss gave him some extra days off. Today we went to Hailee's gymnastics, out to breakfast, and have just relaxed. Tomorrow we are heading to Sunsplash for a morning and early afternoon. Hopefully some of the smoke goes away or I am not sure we will be going!
Here is a cute picture my friend took of Cohen and her son when they were watching him. Her son is about 4 months older than Cohen.
Have a great week everyone!

I guess I should have told you Cohen is shirtless cause he spit up on it. (Or maybe you figured it out.) It was a lot of fun watching your kids, and trust me I'll be needing the help very soon!
Wow that's crazy i thought Tyler had picked up a random job or something.
You are lucky to have such a good friend! I'm glad it all went so smoothly for you and you were able to make some good money!
Plus it's probably nice to have Tyler around this during the week.
