Hailee started soccer today! She had her first practice. She is on a team full of church girls and 2 very patient parent coaches. We realized that we could put a team together with all the 4 year old girls in our ward alone so when everyone registered we all made sure the girl's were on the team together. Naturally they are called the Sunbeams. There is one girl not from our ward but some of the girls know her from preschool. But it is fun since all the moms are friends of mine. The moms enjoyed chatting as well as the dads that were able to come.
All the girls did great! We were a little worried because most have pretty strong personalities. Hailee only got mad once when someone took her new pink soccer ball. But otherwise she did great. It was a hot hot day and she came home red and sweaty and ready for some dinner. We will know be having practiced 2 nights a week and starting in a few weeks games on Saturday. I can't believe I have a kid old enough to play sports!
