The Happiest Place on Earth

Disneyland really is the Happiest Place on Earth. We had such a blast on our trip and want to go back. We were lucky enough that most of both sides of the family were able to join us on this trip. The kids were happy to just spend time with all their favorite relatives in one of the most fun places.

We did 2 days at Disney and a day at the beach as well as 2 days of traveling and lounging. The first day Hailee went on the Madderhorn early in the day and that kind of scared her for the rest of the day. She was happy to stick to Dumbo, the train and any ride that was outdoors. She LOVED the Toy Story ride at CA Adventure. She was in heaven when Grandpa Berry bought her Minnie Ears with her name on them. We were also able to get her face painted and catch Storytime with Belle. We had such a great time that day riding as much as we could and taking some adult time (Thanks mom) so Tyler and I could enjoy all the rides as well. LOVED Space Mountain, Soarin, Screamin, and Tower of Terror!

The second day Hailee was a little more daring and went on a few more rides that she wouldn't have gone on the time before such as Nemo (too dark) She ended up liking it too! One of the highlights of that day was taking Hailee to Ariel's Grotto and eating lunch with almost all her favorite princesses. It was such a blast and something she does not stop talking about. Thanks again to my mom for taking Cohen so we didn't have to wrestle him. But I think one of the highlights for the entire family was the parade that night. Thanks to a friend who told us the best place to sit we were able to have the princess dance and sing so close that Hailee was able to touch them. It was so fun to see her sing along and wave. It was a great way to end our trip at the Magic Kingdom.

Cohen was an angel boy. He loved to sit in the stroller and eat (of course) and go on some rides and just enjoy the attention and watching it all go by. His favorite was getting the Mickey Mouse Sword at the parade and banging it on everything in sight. Hailee was great as well. We thought she would want every toy known to man. I think the only thing she asked for was popcorn and face painting. We were shocked. My mom took her to a shop to pick out something and all she wanted was a sucker. Crazy girl!

It was sad to come home, but we have already started talking about next year's trip which may include a Disneyland day. We want to rent a beach house in Newport so if anyone has any recommendations feel free. It would have to be big to fit all of us! Tyler and I were talking on the way home and we want to go as much as we can while our kids are younger and when it is just so exciting for them. There is nothing like seeing pure happiness!

SO fun! I love it too. You should talk to my mom about Newport. We used to rent a Beach house there for family reunions. Good idea.
