Seriously???

A friend of ours posted this on her blog. This happened at a church building just a few miles from us. They called to get it cleaned up and ended up getting on the news. Hopefully the exposure will help get whoever did this. This bothers for a few reasons:

1. If our side would have lost I KNOW that no one would have done this to someone else's property on the opposite side.
2. We were not the only church/group involved in passing this. Why pick on us???
3. It is a church building. I don't care what church it is, you just don't do that.

I guess I should not dwell on the negative things that have come our way in the past few days, but just be thankful that it passed and the church was a HUGE reason it did!!

We saw this last night and thought the same thing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And it bothers me how on channel 13 and 10 they keep saying that the church donated the money. The church did not donate money, (I don't they did at least, we thought they could not do that.) Its members did. To me there is a big difference. Its just so sad how even though it passed, it may get overturned again. Who knows!!??

That is terrible! Is that at the Green Valley building? I am soo happy it passed! The church did not donate the money, but alot of members did. It's so stupid that they can't just get over it!!!

I am so happy YES passed, People have to blame someone and they will do anything to get on the news! The wonderful thing about Prop 8 passing is that it really brought together all religious sects, no matter what u believe enough CALIFORNIANS believe marriage is sacred. What dosent break you only makes u stronger!

That is just sickening! I've been talking to my mom about it alot. The whole thing just amazes me, but not in a good way, and I'm not even surrounded by it all. Hopefully it doesn't get bad out there for you all and it can pass.

Breaks my heart...into pieces. Sadly I think we're going to see more and more of this type of adversity as the line between good and evil becomes more apparent. There was a big protest here in SLC over the weekend...3000 gathered around temple square to protest as well. It's sad.

I can't believe the support the LDS members in California gave. It has been so inspiring to hear all of the stories and little victories that have been taking place in California. I am so sorry that people can't respect that this was the vote of the people and not any one specific organization! Thanks for this post.
Love,
